Between my fence and a Texas hwy is a concrete gully. Each side of the concrete gully are steep grassy slopes to the hwy road and my fenceline. This are is hard to mow and dangerous to work around due to the hwy traffic. TxDOT mows this area twice a year and sprays herbicide
between mows. Per advice I got here I contacted TxDOT and they are coming this Friday to talk to me about what we can do to make this area better.
I would love any ideas on plants big and small that would grow here with little care and maybe a mulching once a year. I have thought about Texas sage with a ground cover like jasmine or the like.
Thank you for any input.
