My Western Soapberry & Eve's Necklace are spreading seedlings ALL over my garden! I can't seem to stop it. Every time I go out and look at my garden I see more new "trees" growing and I can't dig them out, the roots are too deep, they break off and the roots just sprout back up again.
A) How do I stop this from continuing to happen
B) How do kill them without killing the other plants or digging out the whole garden

Most trees produce seeds, that's how they propagate the species. There's nothing you can do to stop it, short of removing the tree.
