We live in Buffalo, TX (midway between Dallas and Houston). We are looking for a holistic-leaning veterinarian. I imagine the closest one will be in Dallas (about 2-3 hours away) <sigh>. But at least we could call him in emergency situations (which would be much better than calling the vet in town, who, in my opinion, doesn't give a hoot about goats). It is very frustrating to have a sick baby goat and have to figure out by ourselves mostly what is wrong and what to do about it.

So PLEASE help me out and provide information on all the vets you know of that might be able to help us.

Thank you,

Hello Banot. I only have dogs and I only know of one vet in our area (Denton) we really like. He's not so much holistic, but he does listen to us as much or more than he talks

But I wanted to say that you might check out this website:

And here's another really good website full of information: ... ks.htm#org

And lastly I know of Dr. Bob Rogers in Spring, TX. I don't know if he takes care of goats but he's definately worth looking into. His website is:

Hope some of this will be helpful.
