Cereal rye - Plant in the Fall 80 - 100 lbs. per acre mixed with Thunderturf at 40 lbs. per acre. Cereal rye can be contaminated with bastard cabbage (wild mustard). Scalp in February to allow negative Summer grasses to have more room.

- Virginia rye
- Purple top
- Inland sea oats
