HABIT:
 Small-leafed climbing vine that needs no support. Climbs by aerial roots.

CULTURE:  Prefers a moist, well-drained soil and high humidity. Needs protection from winds. Sunny southern exposure is best.


USES:  Climbing vine for courtyards, conservatories, garden rooms and walls in general.


PROBLEMS:  Cosmetic freeze damage in severe winters here.


NOTES:  Also called. Native to southeastern Asia and Japan.
