HABIT: Small rounded leaves, dense branching. Light, variegated foliage. Native to China and Korea.

 

CULTURE: Easy to grow in any soil. Drought tolerant.

 

USES: Color contrast, hedge or screen.

 

PROBLEMS: Relatively pest free except for occasional whiteflies.

 

NOTES: Often called variegated privet. This version of this plant is so plentiful now, it has become a pest. Naturalizes readily from seed.
