HABIT: Summer flowering shrub, upright growth. Bare branches in winter. Yellow fall color. Native to Asia.

 

CULTURE: Easy to grow in any soil, fairly drought tolerant.

 

USES: Summer flowers. Should always be used with evergreens since it is so homely in the winter. Native to Asia.

 

PROBLEMS: Cotton root rot, aphids.
