SPCA Pet Adoption, October 18, 2018

From previous features:  Muneca, Chase, Saydie, Hershey, Miss Ginger and Petey are still waiting for their forever homes.

Here is this week’s dog from McKinney: Buster

Meet Buster, a 9-year-old Boxer mix with a great personality! After living in a home his whole life, he was pretty sad and confused to find himself in a shelter. Despite his age, he has plenty of pep in his step and lots of love to give! His favorite things are treats, plush toys (the squeakier the better), getting attention from people, and snuggling. He’s great with kids and would love a home where kids will throw toys for him! He knows sit, come, and shake! Not to brag, but he’s pretty good at puzzle games and almost always guesses which hand you're hiding a treat in. To top it off, he walks well on leash and is completely housebroken. Does it get any better than that? He’s a sweet, gentle soul and would love a quiet home with a loving family. If you’re looking for a fun-loving boy to join your family, he’s the one for you! Buster has been neutered, microchipped and has received all age-appropriate vaccinations. Come meet him today! #165166

Meet Muneca, an 8-year-old, black and tan German Shepherd mix weighing 51-pounds. Her name means “doll” in Spanish, and it definitely fits her! She’s a sweet, gentle girl who’s looking for a home to spend her golden years. She came to the SPCA of Texas after she was rescued from cruelty, and she was in rough shape. She received lots of TLC and medical care, so now she’s happy, healthy and ready to find a forever home! She loves people, and adores petting all over. She walks well on her leash and enjoys going for strolls – she may be an older gal, but she still has plenty of pep in her step! She’s a laidback, loving girl who will make a wonderful companion. Muneca has been spayed, microchipped and is current on all age-appropriate vaccinations. Come meet her today! #165793

Still waiting for a home: Saydie

Meet Saydie, an 8-year-old, brindle and white Pit Bull mix weighing 60-pounds. She’s a gentle girl with a lot of love to give! She came to the SPCA of Texas when she was rescued, and after lots of TLC, she’s ready to find a forever home! She’s a little shy around new people and unfamiliar places, but once she gets to know you and gets settled in, she is a total lovebug! She’s calm, and enjoys lounging on the couch or bed with her people on lazy days. She gets along with other dogs, but prefers to hang out with chill, laidback dogs like her. Due to her shyness, she’d do best in a quiet home without small children. She’s a sweet, loving girl who will steal your heart with her big, brown puppy dog eyes. Just give her a little time, and she’ll be all yours! Saydie has been spayed, microchipped and has received all age-appropriate vaccinations. Come meet her today! #164494

Meet Hershey, a 3-year-old, chocolate and white Pit Bull mix weighing 72-pounds. He’s a big, goofy guy who loves to play! He is very active, energetic and outgoing. He never meets a stranger, and loves attention from people. He’s always in a good mood, and it’s rare that you see him without a smile on his face. He enjoys going for walks, running outside and wrestling with other dogs. He can play rough sometimes, so he may do best in a home without small children. He loves to go new places and experiencing new things. If you’re looking for a sidekick to go on adventures with, he’s the one for you!
